MEETINGS
Generally we try have some activity each month. This may be a lecture by a guest speaker, musical entertainment, tours, trips, or dinners. On occassions we join other societies for combined events. These meetings or events are open to the general public, however, preference is given to the membership of the Historical Society if space is limited.
Cost of bus rental, hall rental, honorariums, etc. are at least partially born by the Society.
This year meetings will generally held on the third or fourth Sunday of the month depending of the availability of the venue, starting at 2:00 pm. Many meetings are held at the Memorial Hall corner of Donald B. Munro Drive and Carp Road in Carp.
To see a description and photographs of some of our last meetings, see the reports on these meetings included in our newsletters.
